Mr Rirhandzu Owner Siweya, Chief Executive Officer of Mbuyelo Coal (Pty) Ltd has been a keen player in the mining industry for over a decade. His positions in the business world have ranged from Managing Director and Chairman, to Chief Executive Officer and Founder of an array of industries. Having studied his B Juris (-Law), Mr Siweya began his path in Corporate and Commercial Law. Not too long after he had his hands in Financial Services, until he found his calling in the mining industry. This is where he founded the company Mbuyelo Group (Pty) Ltd with subsidiaries in fields such as mining, logistics, contracting, property and farming. He is a born leader whose principles echo loyalty, empathy, hard work and growth.

A Chartered Accountant (CA) by profession, Mr Mthombeni ventured into the mining industry through Mbuyelo Group (Pty) Ltd as Chief Financial Officer in 2008. Majority of his experience in the financial world can be credited to his service in esteemed KPMG, where he completed his articles and qualified as a CA. He gained his experience in mining through hard work and that together with book smarts, he gained the company’s confidence and joins Mbuyelo Coal as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr Mthombeni’s experience in mining stems from the experience gathered during the growing phase of the company: from green fields’ exploration projects to the conversion of those green fields into mining operations.

Vutomi Siweya is our hands-on gentleman and deals with all Public Relations of the company. He has been with Mbuyelo since inception and has at one point or another been involved at all stages of the mining process from the prospecting to the mining right phase. His remarkable negotiation skills and smart wit makes discussions between Mbuyelo, communities and the state a smoother transaction. His knowledge in mining is something to be reckoned with- even in his tender age. Vutomi has been involved in the mining industry for 8 years.

Mr Neel Shilubane is a qualified Microsoft Systems Engineer that has been with the company since inception and is responsible for the day to day communication and administration. Neel may have been involved in the mining industry for 8 years, but his knowledge extends well beyond.
